This 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL was built as an R-code 427ci V8 fastback with a four-speed manual transmission, Vintage Burgundy paintwork, and a white interior. The car was cosmetically refurbished by a previous owner around 20 years ago, and following its acquisition the drivetrain was overhauled. The engine was rebuilt by Cooley Performance with Diamond 11:1 forged pistons, Le Mans connecting Rods, stainless-steel valves, and an aluminum low-rise intake manifold with two Holley carburetors, while the four-speed Toploader transmission was sourced from Dan Williams Toploaders. The car is further equipped with powder-coated Kelsey-Hayes steel wheels, a console, a push-button radio, and a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. This Galaxie 500XL is now offered with the owner’s manual, a car cover, and a clean title.
