This 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 fastback is one of 2,048 produced for the model year and was completed on January 18th. It was first delivered to Carey Paul Ford in Decatur, Georgia, and the original owner had the car repainted black. It is believed to have remained registered in the state from new. That owner commissioned a restoration performed between 2016 and 2019, and it included stripping the body and returning it to its original shade of Lime Gold, rebuilding the 428ci V8 and four-speed Toploader transmission, retrimming the front seats, and fitting reproduction 15″ Magstar wheels. The car was also ordered with a folding rear bench seat, an AM radio, shoulder harnesses, and power front disc brakes and steering. This GT500 is now offered with a window sticker, a Jason Billups summary, a Shelby American Automobile Club registry report, a Deluxe Marti report, service records, spare parts, a car cover, and a clean title.
